The popular foam clog brand Crocs, and luxury brand Balenciaga has once again joined hands to produce a new line of products that are guaranteed to shock audiences. This time, their collaborative partnership ventures out of their iconic footwear category and into a set of baggage options.
Crocs x Balenciaga
This is not the first time these two brands have collaborated. Previously, Crocs and Balenciaga teamed up to release the Balenciaga Crocs Pool Slides.
It is a sandal-like Crocs clog with a rounded platform sole that comes in pink, black, green, white, and yellow. The style is also stamped with Balenciaga branding on the vamp covering and on the underside of the slide.
The Balenciaga Crocs Pool Slides have an elevated sole unit with a 5mm arch, suitable for aquatic activities. These slides could still be bought from Balenciaga’s online store for S$805 each.
Before the Balenciaga Crocs Pool Slides collaboration, these two brands produced another collaboration product: Stiletto clogs and knee-high clogs. The collaboration, dubbed “Balenciaga Crocs 2.0,” saw the classic clog transform into a stiletto heel and knee-high boots that could be worn in the rain.
These clogs come in green, grey, and black with a subtle Balenciaga branding.
The stiletto clogs are a reinterpretation of the extra-high platform clogs in 2017. This time around, the stiletto clogs still retain the original rubber shoe but there is an added stiletto heel for an elevated look.
On the other hand, the knee-high clogs which were showcased during Balenciaga’s Spring 2022 runway show, come with a rounded toe and the Balenciaga logo debossed at the front.

If you are wondering, why did Crocs collaborate with Balenciaga, here’s the short answer:
According to Michelle Poole, the president of Crocs, it was because Crocs were “intrigued by the opportunity to push the boundaries of our design and molding capabilities to see what we could create together.”
This comes after their first collaboration in 2017 when the platform Crocs were born.
According to the creative director of Balenciaga, Demna Gvasalia, he considered Crocs the “world’s comfiest shoes.” They were inspired by Crocs and decided to give it a fashionable touch.
“We were inspired by Crocs and we worked with them on a Balenciaga reinterpretation. Balenciaga x Crocs isn’t impossible, the question of taste is a very subjective value,” Gvasalia told French Vogue in 2017.
It is no surprise that after multiple collaborations with Crocs, Balenciaga decided to collaborate with them again for a fun new product.
Balenciaga X Crocs Tote Bags and Phone Holders with Strap
The Crocs and Balenciaga latest collaboration collection repurposes the inimitable perforated designs of Crocs’ signature clog into a ventilated carrying case. The perforated designs meant you can customise your tote bags and phone holders with Jibbitz charms.
Similar to their collaboration footwear release, the tote bags and phone holders come in black and neon colours.
Balenciaga X Crocs Large Tote Bag
Balenciaga X Crocs Large Tote Bag has an open top with two top handles. In true Crocs fashion, the handles are held together with black buttons. The tote has a Balenciaga logo-debossed tone-on-tone at the front, near the base of the bag.
The tote bag comes with sufficient storage space with dimensions of 44.9cm x 39.9cm x 24.9cm. As the tote is made from 100% EVA rubber, you should only wipe it with a soft cloth if it becomes wet.

Balenciaga X Crocs Phone Holders with Strap
